Teen and Elder Issues

Teen Issues

Teen Issues1

The pressures of a teen’s life and their actions can affect YOU as well as your teen!   As teens begin to proclaim  their independence, some common behavior problems can begin to emerge. Some misconduct like lying, being defiant, cheating, disrespect to parents, running away, and missing curfews, may seem inconsequential, but these behaviors can quickly  intensify rapidly to teenage drug use, violence, and criminal behavior.  These types of misconducts can lead to your teenager hanging out with the wrong crowd as well, and may lead to physical danger.

All of this behavior leads to hours of stress and sleepless nights.

A teenager will rarely if ever share with a parent what is going on in their lives outside of the home so being proactive is the best measure.

runaway

Before running away, your child’s behavior will often give you clues to determine if he or she might consider leaving home.  Many teens leave home impulsively after an argument with their guardian. Often, they don’t know how to express their feelings and believe that running away will make their parents “come around.” Others run away because they are afraid of punishment or they think their home has too many rules and limits. And still others flee because something seriously wrong is occurring in their lives.

Law enforcement takes missing and abducted children very seriously, but sometimes they simply do not have the manpower to employ a successful initial response and timely investigation.   Involving us adds another degree of immediate assistance and expertise in a situation where time is the enemy.  Having our investigators respond immediately can be crucial to the successful outcome of the case. We will not hamper any law enforcement activity.

How can a Private Investigator help?

  As private investigators, we have the capability of focusing  on the single task of finding your runaway.  Law Enforcement have a great number of resources, but they have to handle many cases at once.  We may be able to obtain information from different sources that may be hesitant to speak with Law enforcement. Well, the possibilities are endless, and it depends on the situation.  Here are a few of the things they can do;
    • ΣCan call and interview friends who you may not even know about.

    • ΣCan set up surveillance on a house, or known hangout of your teenager

    • ΣCan search databases and social media sites for information on their whereabouts The internet, which can be a very dangerous place for a child, is often extremely helpful to us when looking for a runaway teen or abducted child.

    • ΣCan work directly with the police

    • ΣCan make contact and work with the known missing children resources available

    • ΣThey can travel to a location outside your area and track the teenager

    • ΣThey can pick-up and transport the teenager home

Do not wait. Time is critical when looking for a runaway or lost child.  Treat every minute like your child’s life depends on it;  it just might.

Elder Issues

Elder Abuse

As elders become more physically frail, they’re less able to stand up to bullying and or fight back if attacked. They may not see or hear as well or think as clearly as they used to, leaving openings for unscrupulous people to take advantage of them. Mental or physical ailments may make them more trying companions for the people who live with them.Elder Abuse1   Tens of thousands of seniors across the United States are  being abused: harmed in some substantial way often by people who are directly responsible for their care.   More than half a million reports of abuse against elderly Americans reach authorities every year, and millions more cases go unreported.   Elder abuse is a growing concern in our society.  Should you suspect a caregiver or family member is abusing your parent, grandparent, or elderly loved one, we can help.  By using state-of-the-art hidden cameras, we can detect and identify abuse.  Once abuse is documented, we will prepare the evidence for the proper authorities.
